‘NEET 2020 on July 26 & JEE Main to begin on July 18’

    The Joint Entrance Examination (Mains) exams will be conducted from July 18 to July 23, 2020, and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Under Graduate (NEET-UG) will be conducted on July 26, 2020. JEE (Advanced) will be held in August 2020, the dates for which will be announced later. CBSE’s pending 29 Board exams will be conducted in early July.

    NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination (main) exams will be conducted from July 18 to July 23, 2020 and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Under Graduate (NEET-UG) will be conducted on July 26, 2020. This has been announced by union minister for human resource development, Ramesh Pokhriyal during his interaction with students on Tuesday. According to sources, the pending CBSE exams will be conducted in the first two weeks of July.


    The minister while replying to a number of queries to students regarding the dates also stated that the JEE (advanced) will be held in August 2020, the dates for which will be announced later.

    All the competitive exams and a few of the CBSE class X and XII Board exams were postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent lockdown. “The JEE (main) will be held on July 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23, while the NEET will be conducted on July 26. The dates for JEE (advanced), which will be conducted in August will be announced later.


    According to a senior HRD official, the CBSE has also presented the schedule for its pending 29 Board exams which will be conducted in the first two weeks of July.
